LAURA KINNEY | X-23
FRIENDSHIP “You are needed, Laura. You are, more than you know.” Laura has a lot of difficulty making friends due to her very basic understanding of what the word actually means and her tainted past. Not a lot of people are keen to pursue any type of relationship with her which has had a negative effect, she is frighteningly aware of when others make judgements on her character – a factor that lead her to leave the X-Men. There are few she considers close to her heart however, if one is willing to accept her mistakes and put up with emotionally repressed responses the majority of the time, she can be fiercely loyal and dependent. RIVALRY “If you do anything to interfere with the rescue of these children, I will kill you.” This includes the typical opponents who fight against the Avengers, X-Men etc. on occasion. Many of Laura's enemies are made for valid reasons; she doesn't hold grudges based on trivial fallouts and clashes of character but it's likely that if anyone causes her or her friends an immense measure of pain, she will go out of her way to do the same. She is unflinching in protecting innocents and will kill without hesitation if it means they carry on living. ROMANCE “I...feel. I want.” Laura has very rarely pursued her romantic interest(s) due to insecurity. Even though her expression of affection is limited, it doesn't mean she is incapable of feeling it – she just has trouble acting on it. She isn't easy to discuss matters of the heart with but if one is willing, patient and committed to understand her then she'll be at your side, without question.
[/justify] ((basically I'm open to any threads/plotting at all tbh))

You probably saw this coming. How could I not snag a thread with X-23 when my character is Hellion? xD I believe they had a bit of a falling out the last time I met, if research doesn't deceive me, so a little awkward reunion thing totally needs to be in the works!
Unfortunately, studying for midterms has sucked away all of my creativity and muse, and it will probably stay that way until like, Tuesday or something. .___. So any plot ideas I offer will probably sound like gibberish. xDD But, ahh..they could, like...save people. Or Julian could get captured by somethingorother and be rescued by X-23, or vice versa. Or something. -headdesks-
But if you have any ideas whatsoever, I'd love to hear them! :3 I'm willing to do anything, so fire away.~

Haha, that's veeeeeery true. Their last encounter didn't end well at all, and considering what Julian accused her of being I can imagine he's not in her good books atm :y So, yeah, three cheers for awkward angst!
It's no problem at all, good luck on your midterms! It would definitely be interesting to see Laura save Julian for once (I think it's twice now that she's been on the brink of death and he's rescued her) so it would be a refreshing swap of scenario. I can think of a few excuses for Laura to be in Westchester - I honestly don't mind if you prefer anywhere else.
The only thing I'm having trouble with is thinking of a villain that has the drive to apprehend Julian and attempt to kill him. Maybe he stumbles on a typical fight, in over his head and Laura intervenes to ~*~save the day~*~ It's entirely up to you; you know him best and whose powers could surpass his own. All I ask is that the battle is over with quickly so they can talk things out (whether the conclusion is negative or positive, again, I don't mind). Julian could get a nasty gash or something that requires first aid so Laura stays to help out (if she has no practical reason to stay, she would probably just leave which doesn't make for very constructive thread :y).
But yeah, I'm just messing around with the idea and seeing what can be done with it. If you don't like any of the above, I'm fine with whatever tbqh

Yes, let's have the fair maiden save the hero for once! :'DD Sounds pretty sweet to me.~ And Westchester would be a good place to set it, I'd think; unless Julian is out on a mission or some personal agenda, I couldn't think of any reason for him not to be there. Plus, it makes it more likely that he'd stumble into trouble rather than deliberately seek it out.
Unfortunately, my comic book knowledge is rather sparse. .____. I wouldn't know what villain to pit against Julian, though I do know his weaknesses enough to know what kind of villain he could be up against. He'd need someone who could disrupt his telekinesis, such as produce a certain sound wave that would prevent him from thinking clearly, rupturing his eardrums (though that would be counterproductive to any future conversation xD), or someone whose telekinesis would be strong enough to rival Julian's. A strong telepath would also work. I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of them right now. xD
Anywho, I've been rather busy so I apologize again for my lack of activity! When I have time I'll do some research and see what villain would be best for Julian - he could have a previous connection or not, doesn't matter to me. :3 But yea, we'll keep the buttkicking to a minimum so Laura and Julian can have their little chat.~

Westchester it is then! Hmm I have to say I know very little of Marvel 'villains' apart from the usual suspects. Maybe this will help in choosing? (Although the list seems a little short to be of any aid). If not then we can always go for an anonymous mutant runaway with raw, powerful and untrained telepathic skills? That way we won't have to worry about writing in-character for the baddies we're unfamiliar with. Sorry, it seems like I just completely erased the initial idea and made a completely new one (-__-) I have a tonne of X-Men comics to read through so maybe if luck's on my side I'll stumble across a tenacious telepathic some time soon.
It's really no problem at all! Life can get hectic, after all. Would you prefer to set the scene with a first post, or shall I have Laura enter the thread first?

-just realized I had been calling Julian's telekinesis 'telepathy' in my last post; hurriedly fixes it and whistles innocently- >.>
Considering my lack of comic book knowledge, I'm probably just going to make someone up unless you find another alternative. xD It'll probably be a crazy, outta control telekinetic, so Julian can more easily get hurt or get slammed by a refrigerator and Laura can stay after the fight and force conversation.
Hrmmm, I guess it would make more sense that I make the first post, seeing as I assume Laura would probably just be sitting around and twiddling her thumbs for the majority of her first post should you start us off. ^^ Of course, I could be very very wrong, and apologize if I am. .____. Butyea, I'll get started on a post at my earliest convenience and when my brain isn't crammed with school/theatre stuff.
