"My name is Peter Parker, and I've been Spider-Man since I was fifteen years old."
Friends -
All in all, Peter is a fairly likable guy. Just don't count on him to always be there for you, at least in the way you want him to be. Having a superhero alter ego can prove very disruptive when it comes to Peter's personal life; when combined with his characteristic bad luck, a lot of Peter's relationships tend to go to pot. Despite this, he is a very kind, funny, and caring individual. At the very least he's got a terrific sense of humor. Once you can get past the fact that he'll disappear on you half the time, he's really a pretty good friend.
But hey, let's not forget about Spider-Man. He can have friends too. Though Peter has always preferred being a solo act, he has made leaps and bounds when it comes to being a team player. He is currently a part of the Avengers, and will go on missions with them when his services are needed. However, he is not above helping out a fellow vigilante and has made countless superpowered friends throughout the years.
- Enemies
Through thick and thin, Peter Parker has maintained a strong moral center. He firmly believes that his work as Spider-Man is ultimately good and will naturally be against anyone who seeks to defy justice or cause harm to others. However, this doesn't mean that he sees everything in black and white. Peter is the type of person who will try to understand why someone is acting a certain wayafter teasing them incessantly, of course. If he thinks he can help lead someone to a better path, then he will try his best to guide them.
There is one thing that Spider-Man has trouble with though, and that's people with inflated egos like himself. In fact, he will ruthlessly tease and harass most anyone while under the Spider-Man persona, and though he usually means this all in good fun, there are those who will take his jibes to heart and become something of a rival or enemy towards him.
Romance -
Peter's love life has been complicated, to say the least. He's had a smattering of romantic flings and serious relationship; there was even a marriage with Mary Jane that wasn't actually a marriage, and...like I said, it's complicated. Currently, Peter is single, and he andhis kind of ex-wifeMary Jane have agreed to remain just friends. Time will tell if the webhead and his redheaded sweetheart will get back together or not, but for now Peter is out on the market. He would not be adverse to starting a new relationship, though the odds of it ever becoming something serious and long-lasting are pretty slim.
- In Conclusion -
