Subject Facts Full Name: William Kaplan Codename: Wiccan Age: Eighteen years Gender: Cisgender man (he/him) Archetype: Super Hero Aliases: Billy, Asgardian (formerly), Demiurge Marital Status: Engaged to Teddy Altman Affiliation: Young Avengers (formerly), Avengers (reserve), A.I.M. (formerly), New Avengers (formerly)
Subject Attributes Superhuman Abilities: - Reality Warping: Billy's magic is largely in the form of altering the reality around him. This allows him to control forms of magic as well as other mystical, or supernatural, forces. He uses this in the form of spells. His spells are simply him focusing on and chanting what he wants to happen. This ability can manifest in the form of any of the abilities listed below.
- Electrokinesis: He's able to manipulate, generate, and discharge energy in the form of lightning or electricity. Most often he generates it from his hands but he's also able to generate it from other parts of his body or his body as a whole. So far this appears to be the one of the only ability that does not require him to verbally chant a spell in order to use.
- Teleportation: He can teleport himself and others seemingly anywhere on the planet simply by repeating he wants to go there. He's also able to open portals and gates to other locations. The limitations of this ability remain unclear and unknown to even Billy.
- Telekinesis: He's able to move objects and matter with his mind such as levitating, manipulating, and even propelling them at enemies.
- Healing: He can heal others and potentially himself, though he mostly focuses this ability on others. The healing process is affected by how much he desires it. For example, healing enemies has been known to be slower than when he heals allies or civilians.
- Flight: He's able to propel himself into and through the air in order to fly. This doesn't seem to require any verbal spells.
- Photokinesis: He's able to generate and project light and heat, even at an intense enough strength to cause harm to enemies.
- Cyrokinesis: He's able to control, generate, and even absorb ice.
- Solid Energy Constructs: He's able to manipulate, as well as generate, energy in order to form solid objects.
- Concussive Force Blast: He's able to produce and project blasts, beams, bolts, and waves of concussive force from energy.
- Pyrokinesis: He can generate and control fire.
- Clairvoyance: He's able to locate another person through brief periods of intense concentration. The less he knows the person, the harder it becomes for him to locate them.
- Conjuring: He can create objects such as clothing, decor, and food seemingly from nothing.
Standard Abilities: N/A Paraphernalia: N/A Subject Weaknesses: - Needs to Hear: Billy needs to be able to hear the spells he chants or else they don't work at all.
- Self-Esteem: Despite all that he's accomplished, he more often than not has low self-esteem and continues to doubt himself and his abilities.
- Needs to Think: He needs to be able to focus along with his chanting in order to work his spells. He's been able to use a spell while panicking but the more he's able to think, to focus on what he wants to happen, the more control over it he has and the more likely he is to be successful.
- Needs to Speak: Just like hearing, he needs to be able to verbally speak the spells. He's unable to cast a spell by saying the chant in his head. Verbally speaking his spells helps him concentrate and cast them with more accuracy.
- Protective: He's very protective over those he cares about. This can easily be manipulated against him. He also seems to be willing to do whatever it takes to keep those people safe - even if it means he takes on a threat by himself.
- Others First: He often puts the well being of others before himself. This goes hand in hand with his protective nature. It also means he's likely to neglect his own needs in order to help someone else.
- Depression: Specifically since the death of Cassie Lang and Vision (Jonas), he's suffered from depression. He was helped through it when Teddy proposed to him but some of it has still lingered with him. He can more easily get depressed than before now, which can also go hand in hand with his self-esteem and anxiety issues.
- Anxiety: He has anxiety that can be brought on when he gets frustrated or panics. He can even have anxiety, or panic, attacks.
Subject History Billy was born the eldest son of Jeff and Rebecca Kaplan. He grew up with his parents and two younger brothers in New York. He was often bullied throughout school both because he was gay and because he was a big fanboy of superheroes such as the Avengers. This, however, led to two things. First he met Wanda Maximoff outside of Avengers Mansion, where she healed his bruises and encouraged him, telling him that he was capable of taking care of and protecting himself. The second was his electric abilities manifesting.
His electrokinesis first manifested when he was being attacked by a bully by the name of John Kesler. During the attack, Billy had decided to take Wanda's advice and stand up for himself. He didn't expect nor even know about his powers and was both surprised and terrified when he almost killed Kesler. That never stopped him from using his powers and trying to figure them out.
As he learned more and more about his powers, he returned to Avengers Mansion to try to find Wanda, seeking her help in understanding what he could do and possibly even what he was. Unfortunately he was too late and soon discovered that the Avengers had been officially disbanded and Avengers Mansion was essentially destroyed.
Eventually Billy was approached by Nathaniel Richards, or Iron Lad, who informed him that he was a younger version of Kang the Conqueror and that Billy was part of something called the Avengers Fail-Safe Program. Alongside Teddy Altman, Eli Bradley, and Nathan, Billy dawned the identity of Asgardian and became one of the founding members of the Young Avengers with the goal of stopping Kang from returning to the present.
Under the direction of Nathan, he trained with his teammates, growing closer to them - he and Teddy eventually started dating - and viewing them as his best friends. Unfortunately things soon changed for the Young Avengers. After being discovered by Jessica Jones, Tony Stark, and Steve Rogers, the Young Avengers, along with their two new members - Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang - were held at the former Avengers Mansion while the three adults figured out to do with them. That was until Kang attacked.
The battle ended when Nathan killed his older self only to decide to return to the future, leaving a new and younger Vision with the team in his stead. The Young Avengers were technically disbanded after that, under threat of Jessica, Tony, and Steve revealing their secret identities to their parents. But that didn't completely deter the young heroes. At the advice of Kate and Cassie, Billy changed his codename to Wiccan and the team dawned new costumes and once again took up the fight against evil.
With the threat of being outed as a superhero looming over him, Billy tried to tell his parents but they ended up thinking he was coming out as gay instead and lovingly welcomed Teddy into the family. Then later the Super Skrull attacked, attempting to kidnap Teddy and putting Billy's family in danger. This resulted in the death of Teddy's mother, or at least the woman who had raised him.
When Kree sentries kidnapped Teddy, Billy and his teammates were desperate to get him back and turned to the same fail-safe that Nathan had used to find the original Young Avengers. This lead to him meeting Tommy Shepherd, who was a speedster that looked identical to him aside from their hair differing. The team had to break Tommy out of prison and afterwards he aided them in rescuing Teddy - a fight that left Eli gravely wounded, though he later recovered. Tommy joined the Young Avengers and their similarities as well as Tommy's speed led Billy to start believing they were the reincarnated children of Wanda Maximoff and the original Vision.
Then a civil war between the heroes broke out and the Young Avengers, Billy included, found themselves arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D. due to none of them registering. When Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers intercepted the bus that was transporting them and other prisoners, Billy used his powers to teleport himself and his friends to base of operations for the Resistance Fighters.
They joined the resistance and even ran off to help the Runaways, despite Steve's objections, but unfortunately the Runaways believed they were there to do anything but help and a fight broke out. Shortly after the fight was brought to an end, Noh-Varr attacked and captured Billy along with Karolina Dean and Teddy. They were held prisoner by Cube Warden until Xavin managed to help them break out. After all that, Billy almost killed the Warden if not for Teddy stopping him.
Afterwards Billy joined the ranks of the Secret Avengers in order to take part in a major battle however he was quickly taken out with a tranquilizer dart due to the threat Tony believed his teleportation powers posed. When the battle ended, Billy was captured and imprisoned in Prison 42 until Steve led a raid to free him and others.
After the civil war had ended, Billy started searching for Wanda Maximoff alongside Tommy, who he was already viewing as his twin brother. Their search led them to Transia but they were never able to find the real Wanda. Then the Skrulls invaded Earth and the Young Avengers found themselves teaming up with the Runaways yet again, saving Teddy in the process.
When Chthon started causing a wave of supernatural chaos, Billy took it upon himself to gather the rest of the Young Avengers at Avengers' Mansion but the team ended up being turned to stone by Chthon with the exception of Vision and Cassie. Thankfully this didn't last and they were eventually returned back to normal. Billy then found out he was a potential candidate to one day become Sorcerer Supreme, something he'd most definitely hadn't been expecting.
During a fight with the Sons of the Serpent, Billy lost control of his powers when Teddy's life was threatened and his powers overloaded, putting the Sons in comas. Because of this and the fear that Billy could be related to Wanda and cause another event similar to the World of M, the Avengers decided to keep an eye on him at the Mansion - something he refused until Steve showed up at his home and spoke with his biological parents. Teddy ended up joining him at Avengers Mansion where they were eventually rescued by the remaining Young Avengers.
And then Max Eisenhardt, or Magneto as he was better known as, showed up. Magneto helped the young heroes get away from the Avengers and to Transia, where they ran into quite literally Pietro Maximoff. Together with Magneto and Pietro, they found Wanda in Latveria and engaged to Victor von Doom with no memories of her past life or her powers.
When the Avengers arrived in Latveria, a battle inevitably broke out and Wanda and the Young Avengers found themselves trapped in the middle of it until Nathan returned from the future, whisking them into the past to protect them. But as the team had already learned, time travel came with a price. They managed to save the life of Scott Lang and returned Wanda's memory to her, as well as her powers which she used to transport them back into their present.
When the X-Men attacked and the Avengers fought back, Wanda teleported her sons and their teammates out of harm's way - but straight to Victor von Doom's castle. Billy attempted to aide Wanda and Victor in a ritual to restore all the mutants' powers that had been lost after the World of M but the ritual was interrupted by Eli. This resulted in the life force moving to Victor and thus preventing Wanda from restoring the powers of any more mutants.
This time the Avengers, X-Men, and Young Avengers teamed up in an attempt to stop Victor from reshaping reality in his image. However the battle resulted in the death of Cassie Lang. When Nathan insisted on messing with time to bring Cassie back and Vision objected, he attacked and murdered Vision. This left the Young Avengers, Billy included, in ruins and the team officially disbanded with Eli being the first to leave.
Billy quit being Wiccan and for months fell into a deep depression and only seemed to be brought out of it - even if only momentarily - by Teddy proposing. Their proposal was interrupted, however, by Carol Danvers who invited them both to Avengers Mansion where they were shown a statue remembering both Cassie and Vision and were all officially made members of the Avengers' roster.
However Billy still retired from being Wiccan for a time alongside Teddy. He was only brought back to the hero life when he accidentally let lose an inter-dimensional parasite named Mother. The fight against Mother led him and Teddy into teaming back up with Kate Bishop and teaming up for the first time with Loki, America Chavez, Noh-Varr, and David Alleyne, essentially renewing the Young Avengers.
Through this, Billy discovered he was destined to eventually become the Demiurge, an omnipotent being. Backed up by various other teenage heroes, the new Young Avengers eventually defeated Mother as well as alternate versions of themselves.
Billy eventually became a full-time hero again and joined Roberto da Costa's New Avengers. He aided Roberto and the New Avengers against multiple enemies. He was eventually one of the New Avengers that was forcibly branched off from the rest but later joined back up with the rest of the team to thwart at Avengers Base Two in the Savage Land. Afterwards he and Teddy were gifted with a luxurious apartment from Roberto as a thank you for their help. Not long after that, though, the New Avengers were officially disbanded.
Subject Interview [Sample from a point post-The Children's Crusade, prior to the second run of the Young Avengers comics]
It still wasn't easy - doing hero work without Cassie, without Vision, without Eli. He was happy to be officially an Avenger, but he'd hoped to one day join them. It still didn't feel entirely right. He didn't really talk about it. He knew he worried Teddy and Tommy enough. His parents too - well the biological one. He hadn't seen Wanda in some time now. He thought she was perhaps giving him space to grieve.
But the grieving didn't stop. He wasn't sure if you ever truly got over losing someone. Teddy never seemed quite moved on from losing his mother.
But at least there were plenty of distractions - which just meant there were plenty of crimes committed to keep him busy.
Right now the distraction was an armored bank car that had gotten stolen by some no-names - well no-names sounded mean but considering they'd shot at both cops and civilians, he wasn't in a nice mood.
He landed in the cross-section of two streets, the car speeding right toward him. He held his hands out toward the car, his blue magic flickering to life.
"IwantthecartostopIwantthecartostop," he muttered aloud. His eyes glowed blue as his magic swirled around him, moving up and then down his arms. Once it reached his hands, it shot out toward the car, enveloping it and bringing it to a screeching halt.
Then two men stepped out of the car and started firing. Wiccan darted into the air then threw out a bolt of lightning at the men. He hadn't used his lightning in a while - the last time he remembered was when he went by Asgardian instead. That felt like lifetimes ago.
The lightning blasted one thug back. He collided with the ground and lay there groaning.
"You might want to surrender," he stated to the other thug, putting on a cheeky smile.
The other thug didn't seem to want to surrender, though. He aimed his gun and Wiccan instinctively flicked his hand, sending out a small burst of magic that was enough to knock the gun out of his hands. Then the cops were there and they had the man surrounded. That was when he surrendered.
Billy admittedly thought it would have been smarter to surrender to a magic user like himself - mutant magic user? He was technically a mutant, right? - than to the police. He could do far more damage than them - not that he ever wanted to kill someone, or put anyone in a coma again.
He sighed, cast a smile to the police then flew off before they could ask any questions. Some distraction. He already wanted to go home.

Subject Facts Full Name: Loki Laufeyson Codename: N/A Age: Physically in his twenties Gender: Genderfluid (fluid pronouns) Archetype: Neutral Aliases: Ikol, God/Goddess of Stories, Lord of Lies Marital Status: Single Affiliation: Young Avengers (formerly)
Subject Attributes Superhuman Abilities: - Asgardian/Frost Giant Physiology: Loki is part Frost Giant and part Asgardian, though his physical traits seem to be geared toward Asgardian rather than Frost Giant.
- Superhuman Strength: He's able to lift up to fifty tons of weight.
- Superhumanly Dense Tissue: His body tissues have roughly three times the density of that of a regular human. Because of this, his body is actually several hundreds of pounds heavier than he physically appears to be.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: His metabolism allows him to be able to regenerate damaged body tissue when he gets injured.
- Superhuman Stamina: His physical stamina is at superhuman levels, allowing him to exert himself at peak capacity and not get fatigued for twenty-four hours.
- Superhuman Longevity: He ages at a rate far slower than that of humans, allowing him to appear much younger than his physical age at any time. This also makes him immune to Earthly diseases and infections.
- Sorcery: He's a highly skilled sorcerer and master of illusion. He's able to use magic for a variety of reasons, including enhancing his already superhuman strength, durability, and stamina. He's also able to create objects out of thin air, avoid telepathic detection, and create powerful illusions with his sorcery.
- Shape-Shifting: His shape-shifting is at a highly developed level. His shape-shifting, however, is limited to forms that are still technically him.
- Allspeak: He can communicate and be understood by all races no matter the language he speaks.
Standard Abilities: - Genius Intelligence: Though he is capable of miscalculations, Loki has a genius level intellect as well as a lot of knowledge on the mystic arts. He uses this to be extremely cunning and a skilled battle strategist and charismatic manipulator.
- Skilled Combatant: He has all the memories of his past lives and thus has the same knowledge and skill in combat that he had in those lives. He's specifically skilled as a swordsman.
- Hacker: Often using the identity of Trixie the Hacker, he's been able to hack into places ranging from casinos to even the most secured database of the Avengers.
- Cook: A more mundane skill of his, he's an excellent cook and enjoys preparing Midgardian food.
Paraphernalia: - Seven-League Boots: These allow Loki to walk in and on what's considered impossible surfaces, such as waterfalls and rainbows. These also allow him to walk vertically, such as scaling up the side of a building.
- Sceptre: Morphed into it's current form by King Loki out of Freyja's staff, his sceptre currently holds the essence of King Loki in it.
- Coat: One of three invisibility equipment that he possesses, this coat was created by shadow-thread stolen from the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim and allows him to be invisible when he wishes to be.
- Lorelei's Amulet: The second of three invisibility equipment that he possesses, he stole the amulet from Lorelei and can use it to make himself invisible at any time.
- Lightbender-Tech Belt: The last of the invisibility equipment that he possesses, he stole the belt from Sigurd, though it was originally created by A.I.M. Unlike the coat and amulet, the belt is technology, rather than running on some sort of magic or sorcery.
Subject Weaknesses: - Distrusted: Due to his past and his trickster nature, Loki isn't trusted by many people. Even when he does something good, it's often believed he's doing it for his own gain - which isn't often far from the truth. This can lead him to having very few, if any, allies.
- Pariah: Because he's distrusted, he can often feel like a pariah among other Asgardians or any heroes. And because he's not entirely evil, he can often feel like a pariah among villains. This leads him to most often deciding to handle things himself rather than rely on someone else.
- Haunting Past: Going hand in hand with the above weaknesses, his past as a villain - and his murder of Kid Loki - follows him around no matter where he goes. Even if he has made some peace with his past, sometimes that very past is all that people see when they look at him.
- Other Asgardians: Asgardians as well as those at a similar or stronger strength level are able to physically harm him.
- Immortal Yet Mortal: While it can be hard, it's not impossible to kill him.
- Manipulations: His manipulating of other people can and often does come back to bite him in ways he doesn't appreciate.
- Magic: Though he's a sorcerer himself, he has shown no immunity against other people's magic or sorcery.
Subject History The God of Mischief has lead many lives and assumed many forms. The current version came to be when his former self manipulated Hela into removing his name from the Book of Hel, allowing him to be reborn into this carnation upon his death rather than come under Hela's rule. This newly created Loki despised his past, selfish, arguably evil self and actively worked to gain Thor and other heroes's trust and forgiveness.
Loki hid the World's Heart to make Galactus give up his attack on Asgard; helped save Midgard from the War of the Serpent; brought Thor back from the dead through remembering him; helped Daimon Hellstrom save mortals from Nightmare; assisted the Manchester Gods; and helped Thor and his best friend, Leah, thwart Surtur. All in quick succession.
Tragically, the remnant of Loki's former self was meddling throughout these heroic events. That meddling came to a head after Surtur's defeat, forcing "Kid" Loki to let his former echo take over his body, subsuming his mind with his own, and effectively "killing" him to keep Mephisto from unleashing hell on earth. The original Loki's death, his observance and interacting with Kid Loki and a handful of other outlying factors irrevocably changed him, though, so that the new Loki was different than any flavor before. Arguably even with a conscience.
Using the other-dimensional parasite "Mother," Loki manipulated Wiccan and, by extension, the Young Avengers in a bid to control the future-Demiurge. When, at a pivotal moment in their time together, Loki fled with Wiccan's power to save himself, he was haunted by Kid Loki, who used his guilt to convince him to return and save the Young Avengers. Afterward, Loki stayed with the team and traveled the universe for three months. He trained Wiccan for his confrontation with Mother and hopped through the multiverse with the others to save Hulkling and Prodigy from the parasite.
Though under the guise of trust and friendship, Loki continued to manipulate and scheme for his own purposes. One of these included, in the continued fight against Mother, having Wiccan magically age him into his late teens. Though this didn't work and Loki seemed to have lost his powers afterwards. Ultimately in the final clash with Mother, Loki realized that the aged "Leah" working against them was a manifestation of his own guilt at having killed Kid Loki, animated by his lost powers, which he'd subconsciously given up as a symptom of that guilt.
Loki confessed what he'd done to Kid Loki, as well as all of the manipulations he'd been doing to the Young Avengers. With the admission, Leah and her group disappeared, allowing Mother to finally be defeated. Following the battle, Loki fled unceremoniously, still wracked with guilt. After this, trying to be the "best story he could be," Loki began working for the All-Mothers of Asgardia with each successful mission erasing one of the crimes on his lengthy record with the Realm Eternal. Unfortunately, Loki soon discovered that the All-Mothers were actively molding events to keep Asgard's destiny from changing, and quit working for them.
He was one of many to be affected by a morality-inversion spell that got out of control - though it was corrected not long after. It was after this that Loki discovered, without reason, he was unable to tell a lie, no matter how small or harmless. Because of this, he confessed the fate of Kid Loki to Odinson who, enraged, brutally beat Loki and brought him to Asgardia for punishment. He was found unquestionably guilty and Frigga banished him from the Ten Realms. Wandering the margins between realms, Loki found Odin, who admitted his love for Loki despite all his evil. Odin then sent Loki back to Midgard, but as soon as he arrived he was captured by his future self, "King Loki."
King Loki banished him to a fateful cavern where his evil former self and Kid Loki manifested, offering two paths: accepting his role as an evil Lord of Lies, or refusing to and destroying himself rather than succumb. Loki chose a third path, seeing lies as a way to tell a story. He apparently was consumed by magical flames and "died," but in reality this was a deception and, eight months later, he reappeared to his friend Verity as the God of Stories, trapping her in a piece of jewelry to save her from the Incursion. Loki traveled to Asgardia, where he opposed King Loki and his forces, but rather than take clear sides, he used his powers to trap the Asgardians and their enemies's essences, saving them from the annihilation that occurred as a consequence of the incursion.
Loki encountered Those Who Sit Above in Shadow in a blank void, but manipulated them into not desiring the Asgardian essences. He also found a defeated King Loki and reconciled with him, containing his future self's essence in his scepter before traveling forward in time to after the universe was brought back. Loki was secretly charged by Frigga to infiltrate Malekith's Shadow Council under the guise of having returned to his villainous ways. While under that fake pretense, Loki was delivered in chains to Asgardia after encountering the new, female Thor. Frigga was then being held to trial for aiding that same Thor in evading Odin's will, which was dissolving Asgardia into a civil war.
In the midst of this, Loki stabbed Frigga with a poisoned dagger which left her on the brink of death. Truly, he'd discovered Malekith was planning on killing Frigga, and used the dagger to neutralize her, save her life and keep his cover in the Shadow Council. Loki briefly ran in the presidential race in the US, but conceded, which was all a secret ploy from one of the candidates to help even the playing field. Next Loki began searching for the whereabouts of the Infinity Stones and, foreseeing the trials bound for earth, tricked Stephen Strange into thinking that the Vishanti had chosen Loki as the new Sorcerer Supreme in a ridiculously convoluted ploy to help prepare Stephen for those impending tribulations.
At the end of his stint as Sorcerer Supreme, Loki accomplished what he'd set out to, teaching Stephen out to break the rules, and using a spell that only the Sorcerer Supreme had access to to jump-start magic itself after its near-destruction at the hands of Imperator months earlier. Next came another vast, contrived and overly-dramatic scheme where Loki rallied together Dark Celestials in an attack to "purge" earth, forcing the Avengers to reunite in order to combat the threat - yet another thing the earth would need for what was coming.
Most recently, Loki was a pivotal figure in the Infinity Wars. On a quest to find the forces controlling his destiny, Loki and a scribe from Omnipotence City ended up trapped in Soul World by an Infinity Stone-powered Gamora. With the help of Emma Frost, Loki escaped and, tricking Gamora, entered the realm beneath the God Quarry to confront his future fate. Ultimately, Adam Warlock gave each Stone their own spirit, so they could dictate their own destiny, and Loki began looking into Warlock's motives and whereabouts, while still retaining his secretly traitorous position in Malekith's Shadow Council.
Subject Interview No one appreciated the work he did, the mischief he weaved, the heroics he even managed to squeeze in there. He wasn't sure what would come from his research into Adam Warlock but he was certain that even if something good - something wonderful - came from it, it wouldn't be appreciated. It wouldn't be trusted. He wouldn't be trusted. But that was the life of the God - sometimes Goddess - of Stories, cursed to be seen as the God - sometimes Goddess - of Lies and Mischief still.
Of course it was a figurative curse. He liked to think he would know if he was actually cursed rather than simply being melodramatic. But what else was he supposed to do? He was a young adult again - Wasn't being melodramatic their thing? Or was that teenagers? Maybe it was teenagers.
Frankly he was also annoyed. He'd been trying to find Warlock's location for how long now and still had nothing to show for it. He wasn't always interested in being a hero but he was certain Warlock was up to something and a hero needed to stop it. Whether that hero ended up being him or someone else remained to be seen.
Maybe he should have given Warlock the benefit of the doubt and assume his motives were good, that there was nothing else at foot but just as being trusted wasn't for him, neither was blindly trusting someone else.
And this search was what lead him to walking vertically up to a certain apartment he wasn't entirely sure he was welcome at - though that wouldn't stop him from acting like he was welcome. And that lead him to magically entering the apartment, fully aware of the alarm system he'd just tripped. And that lead him to being magically wrapped up from head to toe like some Egyptian mummy with a blanket - seriously, did people forget what mythology he was from? - until the fellow sorcerer took a moment to recognize him.
Once he was free, he coughed, took in some air, than gracefully got to his feet and grinned widely, spreading his arms. The two of them were currently alone but he had a feeling that could change at any second so he had to get right to the point. After all, his magic was... More limited than the other man's. So to find Adam Warlock, he needed to go to someone whose magic was capable of such things. And who was more capable than someone who could bend reality to his will?
"Billy!" he greeted, fully aware of the threat of the other man's magic hanging in the air. But he continued to grin like they were the best of friends. "Is that any way to greet a friend?"

Subject History Retrospectively, Amadeus was a prodigal genius from a young age. Although, his parents Helen and Phil only really realized it when he was a teenager. At fifteen, Amadeus entered and won a game show for young geniuses, "Brain Fight." The show was actually created by the genius Pythagorus Dupree to find potential intellectual rivals and eliminate them. Dupree's men attacked the Cho household and, in the resulting explosion, Amadeus's entire family was killed, with him and a coyote pup named Kirby as the only survivors.
Agents tracked Amadeus down, but he ran into the Hulk, who protected him, and the two became unexpected friends. Following the Stamford Incident and resulting Superhuman Registration Act, SHIELD Agents targeted Amadeus. He managed to outsmart them and, using one of the Hulk's old hideouts in New Mexico, hacked into the Baxter Building remotely and discovered that the Illuminati (with members including Reed Richards and Tony Stark) had sent the Hulk into exile in space. Amadeus confronted Richards via phone about his betrayal of Bruce Banner, then set out to find the real location of the Hulk, who he found wasn't where the Illuminati sent him.
The Hulk soon returned to earth with his Warbound. Cho, having found She-Hulk depowered by Tony Stark's SPIN tech, restored her powers and tried to get her help against Stark. She-Hulk declined and put Amadeus into contact with Hercules and Angel, both in Hulk's debt from their time as Champions. Together with them, Amadeus tried to recruit Namor, who refused. However, an unlikely addition to their group came from the attempt in the form of the Atlantean's cousin, Namora. Amadeus and his team helped protect non-evacuated civilians in Manhattan during Hulk and his Warbound's campaign. Cho tried to break through to Hulk and reason with him, but was unsuccessful. When the crisis was ended, Amadeus and his teammates were taken into SHIELD custody.
SHIELD tried to use Amadeus's intellect in the relief efforts for New York but, not wanting to become a tool at their disposal, he declined. Hercules had similar opinions and broke the two of them out. Amadeus devised a virus that would destroy all SHIELD tech but Hercules convinced him not to use it, for fear he'd be labeled a villain for the rest of his life. Alongside Hercules, Cho encountered Athena and then went to build a team of gods from earth to confront the Skrull Gods, besting Nightmare in the process and getting his map of the Dream Realm. Amadeus and Hercules also encountered the Amazons and, though he began a brief relationship with Delphyne Gorgon, she ended it upon becoming the Amazonian queen.
Next Amadeus confronted Hera beside Athena and Hercules, and went to the Underworld to rescue Zeus. While there, he encountered his parents in the Elysian Fields, who explained that his sister hadn't died in the explosion that killed them, and was being kept by Excello somewhere. Following the events of the Skrull Invasion, Amadeus helped Hercules form the Mighty Avengers to defeat Chthon and his "Chaos Cascade," which itself came about after the death of the Demogorge with the Skurllian gods. Cho next joined Banner and a select team of superheroes to attack Intelligencia's headquarters to save Betty Ross.
Following Hercules's tragic death, Amadeus worked together with Athena to stop the Olympus Group's Continuum plan, which would overwrite all of reality with one the Olympians had created. During the ordeal, Amadeus reunited with Hercules and Athena revealed she had betrayed Hercules in order to make Amadeus the new Prince of Power. After thwarting the Continuum plan, Amadeus and Hercules formed a new incarnation of the God Squad to stand opposite Amatsu-Mikaboshi and his Chaos War, where they eventually succeeded.
In the aftermath of the Chaos War, Amadeus had several team-ups with Hulk and Red She-Hulk. During the events of the Serpent's attack on earth, Amadeus tried to form a new team of young superheroes but, because the attempt was made through manipulation, they all turned down his offer after finding out they'd been lied to. Amadeus then created a super-suit that gave him enhanced abilities, but found himself stuck on an isle in the Savage Land. Where he tried, and failed, to protect a hi-tech prison for the planet-eating entity Visher-Rakk's servant, Morrigon, who told his master of a whole galaxy for him to feast on.
Amadeus then went into hiding with the Illuminati as they were targeted by the Avengers. He tried breaking into SHIELD Base: Golgotha to steal Tony Stark's files, but was captured and interrogated regarding the Illuminati's whereabouts. After the Incursions were dealt with, Amadeus used nanites to absorb dangerous excess amounts of radiation from the Hulk, becoming the new Hulk in the process. As the new Hulk Amadeus went on numerous adventures and even became a member of the Champions, but found his emotions - particularly his rage - harder and harder to control. This was especially tested when, during the second superhuman civil war, Bruce Banner was killed at the hands of Hawkeye.
Cho was unable to control his Hulk persona and quarantined himself on a deep-space satellite to try to come to terms with his powers. Unfortunately Amadeus was forced to come to Sakaaran's aid to free them from a new warlord and, in the related events, let his Hulk-sona overwhelm his Amadeus personality. He returned to earth, where his Dark Hulk personality was eventually combatted with an injection of nanobots built to destroy the nanites that gave him his powers. Amadeus realized he had to accept his darker side and work to overcome it and, his psyche made whole again, retained a portion of his Hulk powers afterwards.

Subject Facts Full Name: Robert Louis Drake Codename: Iceman Age: Twenty-nine years Gender: Cisgender man (he/him) Archetype: Super Hero Aliases: Bobby, Frosty Marital Status: Single Affiliation: X-Men
Subject Attributes Superhuman Abilities: - Thermokinesis: Bobby is able to lower his external as well as his internal body temperature. This allows him to project intense coldness and chill from his body.
- Thermal Vision: When he lowers his body temperature, he's able to see other people and living creatures around him by the heat signatures they give off due to the lack of heat around himself.
- Cryokinesis: He's able to generate and manipulate ice as well as snow and cold temperatures. He can fully control it and bend it to his will. He can even control moisture in the air in order to freeze it and form ice or snow from it.
- Organic Ice-Form: He's able to transform into an "ice form," which is in itself organic, living ice. His body becomes stronger and more durable when in this form than compared to his "human form."
- Hydrokinesis: He's able to manipulate water at a molecular level. This allows him to augment himself using the moisture around him to accomplish things such as traveling quickly through large bodies of water.
- Molecular Moisture Inversion: He's able to freeze water molecules in order to turn them into ice.
- Molecular Moisture Conversion: He's able to turn organic matter, most often the human body, into organic ice. This goes hand in hand with his ice form as he most often uses it on himself but has been able to use it on other people to temporarily turn them into organic ice and then back human again.
- Ice Clone Generation: He's able to create clones of himself made from ice. He's currently not tested how many clones he can create at once and thus the limitations of this ability are unclear.
- Cryokinesis Perception: He's able to spread his consciousness through icy matter and perceive all events occurring within that matter.
- Cellular Replacement: He's able to draw ambient moisture into himself and use that to replace cells and heal himself.
Standard Abilities: - Combat: Bobby has years of training and experience as an X-Man when it comes to combat, making him a force to be reckoned with even without his powers.
- Accounting: He's a Certified Public Accountant and is quite good at it.
- Ice Skating: As one might expect from someone whose powers are centered entirely on ice, he's become a talented ice skater.
- Bilingual: He's fluent in both English and Spanish.
Paraphernalia: N/A Subject Weaknesses: - Still Vulnerable: Despite all his powers, Bobby's not invulnerable. It's still entirely possible for him to die or be killed, let alone get severely injured.
- Heat & Fire: Being so reliant on the cold, he's more vulnerable to heat and fire related powers or threats than other mutants may be.
- Psychics: His powers don't protect him from psychic attacks.
- Limited: He seems to be unable to use his powers to their fullest. The possible reasons behind this ranges from lack of creativity and imagination to even fear of losing control. Whatever the reason, he seems to also be reluctant to even try to push the limits of his powers.
- Human Form: When not in his ice form, he has the body of an average, athletic man of his age. Any protection his ice form grants him is unavailable to his human form and thus he's considered at his most vulnerable in this form.
- Physical Health: The strength and endurance of his powers are linked directly to his physical health. The healthier he is, the longer he can use his powers for. At his healthiest, he has been known to be able to create ice for five hours straight before exhaustion, both mental and physical, hits him. When his health is affected negatively in any way, that time starts to dwindle.
- Mental State: Similarly to the above point, his powers are linked directly to his mental state. The health and stability of his mental state affects how long he can use his powers as well as how strong his powers are. The more unstable or distressed he is, the more his powers will reflect that as well.
Subject History Bobby Drake lead a fairly normal life into his teens in Fort Washington, New York. When a bully from school and his buddies jumped Bobby and his girlfriend, he used his mutant abilities to stop them. The community formed a lynch mob, and would've attacked Bobby had the sheriff not intervened and taken him into custody for his own safety. Scott Summers recruited him and, thanks to Professor Charles Xavier's intervention that stopped Scott and Bobby from being hanged by the mob, he agreed and became one of the Professor's founding X-Men.
Alongside Marvel Girl, Angel, Beast and Cyclops, Bobby, codenamed "Iceman," he learned to hone his abilities. He went on numerous adventures, not just with fellow X-Men, but also the Fantastic Four's Human Torch and more. Bobby was among the members of the team to be captured by Krakoa, and following their rescue by the second generation of the team, he joined the others (save Cyclops) in leaving the X-Men. Bobby went to UCLA to become a CPA and, while there, joined Angel, Black Widow, Hercules and Ghost Rider as the "Champions of Los Angeles" for several adventures.
The team was highly volatile and quickly disbanded, though. Following several other super-heroic adventures, Bobby briefly joined the Avengers but, after finding out this decision was due to Moondragon's mind control, he quit super work and returned to college. During a summer break, Bobby became associated with the Defenders and helped keep it cohesive and organized following the original roster's departure. Later a possessed Moondragon seemingly killed most of the Defenders, and the remnants disbanded.
Bobby lead a life in his professional field for a time. Once it was discovered Jean Grey was alive after being believed dead for years, he joined with the original X-Men as part of X-Factor. The new team went on several adventures. Loki abducted Iceman and tried to enhance his powers. Though he was saved and returned home by Thor, after this Bobby's powers started spiraling beyond his control. Following the X-Men and X-Factor's joint defeat of Shadow King on Muir Island, the latter rejoined the former, with Bobby being assigned to Storm's Gold Team.
During this time, Bobby's powers began to evolve, with him turning to living ice rather than just coating himself in it. Following months spent in a coma, Emma Frost awoke and possessed Iceman and used his powers to their fullest potential. She refused to teach Bobby how, though, and, disheartened, he went on a road trip to clear his head with Rogue. Only after a battle with Onslaught did Emma teach Bobby how to change to his living ice form and back, enabling him to survive a wound to his chest which formerly kept him in his glacial mode.
When Graydon Creed campaigned for the presidency, Bobby infiltrated his staff to find information to discredit him. Iceman's father spoke out publicly against Creed, and Graydon had Mr Drake severely beaten. Bobby took another break from the X-Men to be by his father's side, but came to their aid during Bastion's Operation: Zero Tolerance, bringing Marrow into the X-Men at the time. He returned to the X-Men on the quest to embrace his powers's full potential. Black Tom Cassidy dealt a severe injury to Bobby's chest soon after, triggering his secondary mutation and locking him in his living ice form. This state made Bobby resentful of his powers again, and bitter at life on the whole for many months.
Following the events of M-Day, Iceman was on of the ten-percent of the mutant population of earth to retain his powers. Bobby was recruited onto Rogue's team of X-Men, and seemingly destroyed by Aurora and Northstar during the group's fight with the Children of the Vault. Fortunately, Iceman was able to reform from steam to ice to his normal body. Mystique became a temporary teammate, feigning reformation, and she and Bobby pursued a brief romantic relationship. Predictably this ended in emotional trauma and tragedy when Mystique's ulterior motives were revealed and she betrayed the X-Men.
Iceman joined the X-Men when they moved to the island civilization of Utopia off the coast of San Francisco. Following the schism that split the X-Men, Logan relocated the majority of the students back to the original X-Mansion grounds and asked Bobby to help him. Iceman agreed and became the bookkeeper for the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning. He supported and defended the student body for the following months. During the Avengers vs X-Men events, Bobby briefly allied with the Phoenix Five, but ended up switching to the Avengers's side by the conflict's end.
Shortly after, Bobby was infected by a Death Seed of Apocalypse. Losing control of his mind, he wrought havoc that caused many deaths before the X-Men could shatter him, purging him of its affects. Bobby began piecing back his psyche, but the sins he'd committed while out of control severely haunted him. Iceman worked under Storm spiriting mutants endangered by the Terrigen Cloud to X-Haven. After a confrontation with Colossus, who was a horseman of apocalypse, Bobby joined the X-Men's side in a war against the Inhumans when it was discovered in a matter of weeks the entire planet would be uninhabitable for mutant kind.
The Bobby of the then-time-displaced original X-Men was outed as gay by the time-displaced Jean Grey. He confronted Iceman about it, and Iceman admitted to having known about it for some time, but fearful of the world being prejudiced against another part of him. To focus on himself, Bobby stepped out of the limelight and even declined membership to Kitty's new X-team. Instead he was a reserve member and taught classes at the new Xavier School. Bobby went on several adventures with the goal of self-discovery, dating a man named Judah briefly before his superheroic lifestyle became too dangerous for Judah to live with.
Emma Frost approached him next to help in regards to her brother, Christian. Despite Kitty's protests, Bobby went with and helped Emma reconcile with her brother, who had manifested powers and a fractured psyche due to a lifetime of emotional and physical abuse from their father. Bobby then encountered a version of himself from an alternate future timeline, as well as confronted Jean Grey for the actions of her younger self in outing him, using both to gain more understanding and confidence of himself as a person.
Most recently, Bobby joined his fellow X-Men to oppose Nate Grey's reality warping, which culminated in X-Man apparently wiping himself from existence.
Subject Interview Finding out about this black market hadn't been easy - confirming the rumors had taken some favors owed from S.H.I.E.L.D. which he hadn't even known were owed prior. Figuring out how to sneak in without being recognized had been just as hard. He'd dressed the part - This was attended by the upper-class (that felt like an understatement) so he needed to look like he belonged. Thankfully he always somehow found a nice black suit lying around when he needed it. He was equally thankful over the fact that the suit had been clean. He'd practiced his cover story in the mirror longer than he'd care to admit in case he got caught but not recognized.
Sneaking in itself had been... Too easy. It set him on edge. Maybe this place was so top secret that they didn't expect to get infiltrated. He ran a hand over his hair to make sure it was still successfully slicked back. He grabbed a drink the second he could, wanting to blend in, and subtly sniffed it just to be safe. He focused on looking around - He needed to assess what and who were here. However he also needed to do so without bringing suspicion on himself. He didn't need any unwanted attention.
Others had volunteered but he'd insisted he could do it. Surely his experience as a long time X-Man helped qualify him for this. Besides, it was just scoping up some black market - albeit a very expensive black market but were any of them ever cheap or affordable? He didn't think there was too much that could go wrong and anything that could, he could handle himself.
There was a rumor that there might be some Sentinel technology here. Did that mean pieces of a Sentinel or full fledged new Sentinels up for auction - Was there going to be an auction or was it just first come first serve? How did the rich buy their illegal merchandise? He had no clue; he'd never been rich unfortunately. The rumor also could have been just that: a rumor. There was a good chance there'd be no evidence to back it up. Still it wasn't as if he could risk it being true on the off chance it wasn't.
"Presenting the White Queen of the Hellfire Club."
Bobby almost choked on the champagne he'd grabbed. Had the Hellfire Club ever been anything but a thorn in the X-Men's side? It'd been so long. The last he could recall, that title belonged to Emma Frost - If there had been another White Queen, they hadn't stuck in his mind which when compared to Emma Frost was understandable. Crap, he couldn't help thinking and then grimaced. Emma would definitely recognize them and could definitely read his mind. She probably wouldn't rat him out right away - They'd both be interested in why the other was here so he certainly had some questions for her too - but there was a chance she'd just complicate things, annoyingly so.
Still, he and Emma had worked together in the past. He didn't think they were on bad terms.
He looked over at where he expected her to be, after all she'd just entered, unaware that his startle had cause him to freeze the champagne he held. But it wasn't Emma who his eyes fell on - Who they looked with. No, who he saw even confused him more. He'd helped Emma with her brother, Christian, before but he didn't recall him being part of the Hellfire Club. Seeing Christian stirred something in him - concern because he wasn't sure how the other man was doing after they'd last seen each other and... Something else. Something he couldn't quite place. He should have ducked his head and continued on because Christian was likely to recognize him but... That something else kept him in place, eyes curiously watching the other man.

Subject History When Jean-Paul was an infant his parents died in a car accident. He was separated from his sister, Jeanne-Marie and taken into a family with the surname "Martin." History was doomed to repeat itself when he was still a child, and they, too, were tragically killed in a car accident. After this, Jean-Paul entered the foster system and had a history of getting in trouble. Once a teenager, Jean-Paul tried to steal from a man named Raymonde Belmonde who, himself, was a criminal. Belmonde took Jean-Paul in and helped him deal with his emerging superhuman abilities and sexuality.
Jean-Paul soon left Belmonde and joined a circus in France as an acrobat. Following that, he returned to Quebec and joined a protest movement but left it after finding - and thwarting - their terrorist methods. Jean-Paul then turned his passion for skiing into an Olympic career for his country. He gained sensational notoriety as an athletic star and was contacted by James MacDonald Hudson, who enlisted him in Department H's group Alpha Flight as "Northstar" alongside the sister he'd never met, Jeanne-Marie. Unfortunately, Jean-Paul's abrasive personality made his membership rocky and short-lived, and he left the group not long into his stay there.
Though not officially a member, he was present (though conditions were strained) during Alpha Flight's conflict with Loki and his Fire Fountain, and then again to save Sasquatch's soul from the Realm of Beasts. Jeanne-Marie was revealed to have had Sasquatch modify her genetic code to make her and Jean-Paul no longer identical when, in an attempt to counter a rampaging Hulk, the twins tried to use their gestalt powers, only to short each other out instead. Afterward, Northstar stayed a fairly steady member of Alpha Flight, and was pardoned by the Canadian government for his former association with a terrorist organization after he defeated its commander.
While under the influence of Kara Killgrave's pheromones, Jean-Paul's secret identity was revealed to the world and, since he could not prove he'd not used his superpowers while competing, he was stripped of his Olympic medals. Kara also "persuaded" Jean-Paul to date her and take her vacationing on a tropical isle. When he was swimming, Kara's pheromones washed off of him, putting him in his right mind and making him furious with her, whereafter he promptly returned to Alpha Flight. Later, after being tricked by Loki into thinking he was half-elf, Jean-Paul was stranded in Asgard. Alpha Flight saved him from being eaten by trolls and, in a subsequent fight with Llan the Sorcerer, Jean-Paul tried to transfer his powers to Jeanne-Marie to save her life (which she had done to him weeks previously), which restored both of their powers.
Northstar remained with Alpha Flight steadily through the abduction and rescue of his sister at Headlok's hand. During a mission, he found an abandoned infant in a dumpster that was HIV-positive and already manifesting AID symptoms. Jean-Paul officially adopted the girl and named her Joane. Tragically, Joane passed away several weeks later, but her life had had an incredible impact on Northstar, leading him to call a press conference where he revealed to the world his sexuality. He remained with Alpha Flight as long as it was in operation, but left in anger following its temporary suspension due to anti-mutant sentiment.
During this period Jean-Paul spent all of his time looking for his sister, who had gone missing after her breakup with Weapon Omega. He found her, but she was then abducted by the Brotherhood of Mutants briefly. Jean-Paul found her again, and with the help of Alpha Flight got her treatment. It was revealed that Aurora's worsened condition was intentional and part of Department H's agenda to destabilize specific mutants. Alpha Flight was formally reinstated, but Jean-Paul's membership only lasted a short time after this.
Northstar then released an autobiography. At one of his book signings Jean Grey recruited him for a mission to Genosha. He joined the X-Men for a brief while and, after derailing Magneto's plans for world conquest, returned to a civilian life. Following the X-Men and Institute's outing as mutants, Professor Xavier asked Jean-Paul to teach business and economics at the school. Though he initially refused, after trying to help a twelve year-old mutant boy named Peter who tragically died during the attempt, he accepted. He was an X-Man for a decent time, but after the Institute's restructuring and expansion, he dedicated himself to teaching full-time and became the exclusive mentor of Alpha Squadron.
Not long after, Jean-Paul was killed by Logan when he was brainwashed and in Hydra control. His corpse was then taken by Hydra and brought back to life under its control, and Jean-Paul was given control of the mutant cult "the Dawn of the White Light." Wolverine, who was deprogrammed, found and subdued him and delivered him to SHIELD, but his own reconditioning did not go as well and he remained unofficially and secretly in the intelligence organization's custody. Northstar and Aurora were then brainwashed by the Children of the Vault and made to fight the X-Men. The twins were defeated by Cable and, with SHIELD tech melding their brains temporarily into one, then separating them again, their memories and psyches were properly mended.
Jean-Paul was then beaten and used as a warning to leave Anole alone when he approached his former student and tried to convince him to come back to the X-Men. He and Aurora helped defend San Francisco during the climax of the Skrull Invasion. Next, he started his own extreme sports company as acting CEO with Jeanne-Marie called Northstar Extreme Snow Sports and began a romantic relationship with Kyle Jinadu. Logan soon recruited him onto the X-Men again, which he agreed to. With the team he faced Norman Osborn's Dark X-Men, the rescue of Illyana Rasputin and the events surrounding Hope Summers's return.
Kyle was then abducted by the reborn Marauders. Northstar and the X-Men saved him, and the scare was enough to prompt Jean-Paul to propose. The two were happily married soon after. During the Chaos War, Jean-Paul was reunited with resurrected members of the original Alpha Flight. They went on to reform the team and, though he initially refused at first to maintain his new life with his husband, Jean-Paul eventually rejoined to keep an eye on his sister, who was behaving troublingly.

Subject Facts Full Name: Roberto Reyes Codename: Ghost Rider Age: Nineteen years Gender: Cis man (he/him) Archetype: Super Hero Aliases: Robbie Marital Status: Single Affiliation: Avengers
Subject Attributes Superhuman Abilities: Robbie's abilities are linked to his demonic transformation which allows him to turn into the Ghost Rider. These abilities can only be used when he's Ghost Rider rather than in his "human form." - Superhuman Strength: His strength exceeds that of the average, non-powered human, exceeding the limits of the human body. He's been shown to be able to contend with others like Thor and Captain Marvel in regards to physical might.
- Superhuman Speed: Like his strength, he's able to move at speeds that exceed that of the average, non-powered human.
- Superhuman Durability: He's highly resistant to injury and can even withstand great impact without being injured too bad or killed. This allows him to hold his own against even Hulk level threats for an admittedly brief but still impressive amount of time.
- Self-Sustenance: He doesn't need to rest, eat, sleep, or drink as Ghost Rider. He doesn't even need to breathe, allowing him to not worry about drowning under water or suffocating in space.
- Regenerative Healing Factor: He regenerates from injuries faster than the average, non-powered human. He can even regrow damaged or detached limbs in seconds or mend large holes blown in his body.
- Pyrokinesis: He's able to generate and project flames from his body. The flames are most likely hellfire but he has yet to confirm this himself.
- Chain Manifestation: He can manifest red-hot chains from his body and wield them as weapons. The chains themselves are incredibly strong, capable of ripping a Celestial's arm out of place.
- Hell Charger Linkage: His Ghost Rider self is linked and thus connected to a demonic car possessed by the Satanic spirit of his Uncle Eli. This connection allows him to summon the car when needed for various actions including fire attacks and ramming enemies.
- Intangibility: While limited, he's able to phase through his car and some other objects as well as places.
- Underworld Path: He can use the trunk of the Hell Charger as a portal to Hell. When enemies are thrown in, they're quite literally sent to Hell. He can even summon writhing tentacle monsters from it to grapple and entangle enemies and drag them through the portal for him.
- Healing Symbiosis: When he and/or the Hell Charger suffer critical physical or mental energy, the car is able to connect him to its internal wiring in order to repair, and thus heal, the both of them.
- Teleportation: He can use the Hell Charger as a hub, using it to teleport various distances.
- Portal Creation: Through his connection to the Hell Charger, he's able to create hellfire portals.
- Nether Communication: He's able to use the Hell Charger to communicate with deceased individuals or souls as well as track the individual's lineage and come in contact with them.
- Matter Surfing: He's able to drive the Hell Charger over bodies of water as easily as solid ground and even use it as a submersible.
- Flight: He's able to make the Hell Charger fly and even fly it at great speeds in space.
- Condemnation: He can summon a hellish spire that can drag his enemies down to Hell.
- Rage Enhancement: He's able to enhance his form even more by the rage that fuels him due to the possession by his Uncle Eli. When he kills and/or punishes a criminal, he becomes a more powerful demonic figure.
- Vehicle Possession: He can give any vehicle he comes into contact with the properties of the Hell Charger, though it's temporary for the vehicle.
- Penance Stare: He's able to make someone feel all the pain and suffering they have caused innocent people to endure. He's able to do this himself or emit it through the Hell Charger or another vehicle he is currently possessing. The point of origin of his penance stare remains unknown however.
- Penance Bomb: In his more demonic form, he's able to explode a mass of hellfire large enough to destroy most of Japan. Thankfully for both the world and his conscious, he's never used this power.
Standard Abilities: - Expert Driver: Robbie is a highly skilled driver as well as a street racer.
- Expert Mechanic: He's a highly skilled mechanic.
- Combat: Despite his lack of proper training, he has a knack for hand-to-hand combat and can hold his own in a fight.
- Pilot: He's competent when it comes to piloting a helicopter as well as the Quinjet.
Paraphernalia: - Hell Charger: A modified 1969 Dodge Charger, possessed by the spirit of a Satanic serial killer, his Uncle Eli, and now linked to Robbie.
- Hell Chain: A chain with knives at the edges that he wields in combat. The full nature of this chain has yet to be explored and thus remains unclear.
Subject Weaknesses: - Penance Stare: Because he's possessed by a Satanic serial killer rather than a Spirit of Vengeance, Robbie is also vulnerable and prone to the effects of a penance stare.
- Control: He's still working on gaining control of his demonic powers and thus can potentially lose control of them again.
- Inexperience: Going hand in hand with his lack of control, while he keeps gaining experience, he's still considered one of the more inexperienced heroes and thus more prone to mistakes.
- Fueled By Wrath: No matter what his main objective is to kill a list of crime lords, fueled by his Uncle Eli's wrath. This objective, this wrath, is very hard to ignore and fight past.
- Rage Enhancement: His rage enhancement affects his body physically when he's Ghost Rider but it also affects his human body medically. That and the more powerful his demonic self becomes, the harder it can be to control it.
Subject History By the time Robbie Reyes was a high school student, he was the provider for and protector of his disabled younger brother, Gabe. The neighborhood they lived in, Hillrock Heights, in Los Angeles was crime-riddled and extremely dangerous. Even though Robbie worked all the hours he could at a body shop as a mechanic, it wasn't enough to enable him and Gabe to relocate somewhere safer for them. To that end, Robbie "borrowed" a 1969 Dodge Charger from his body shop and entered a street race with it, hoping to use the prize money for Gabe's well-being.
Unbeknownst to him, pills that allowed Calvin Zabo to transform into Mr Hyde were in the trunk of the Charger, and the mercenaries dispatched to retrieve then gunned Robbie down in the process. Though believed dead, Robbie's body was possessed by a spirit which transformed him into the new Ghost Rider. After another transformation the next day, Robbie was introduced to the spirit formally, "Eli." Eli offered him the chance to secure vengeance against those that had done wrong, to which Robbie accepted. Immediately after, Robbie encountered Mr Hyde, who had stolen the Charger, fought him, and won, becoming something of a hero in the eyes of the area in the process.
Robbie was unwilling to become a vigilante, though, and began using his newfound powers to win more street races, using the money to work less and spend more time with Gabe. During an altercation with the original Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, Eli took over Robbie's body, using it to pursue a vendetta against a Russian mob boss. In the process, Eli was revealed not to be a Spirit of Vengeance, but that of a serial killer who had been gunned down in the house that Robbie and Gabe lived in. Eli was also responsible for pushing Robbie's pregnant mother down the stairs, resulting in Gabe's disability. Johnny Blaze subdued Eli with a Penance Stare, enabling Robbie to regain control.
Back in Los Angeles, Mr Hyde's gang reared and, through the ensuing altercations with them, Robbie reached an agreement with Eli: they would only harm those with evil souls, sating Eli's bloodlust. Robbie awoke in South Africa in his Charger without any memory of having got there, and was attacked by Star Brand, who he accidentally killed when his Penance Stare awoke for the first time during the fight. Robbie was summoned by Odin to answer for Star Brand's death and, after explaining everything, was pardoned.
Most recently, Robbie did battle with She-Hulk. The fight had unexpected consequences, because he has now found himself as the newest member of the core Avengers roster, operating out of Avengers Mountain on the North Pole. His fledgling membership was made rocky when, while confronting vampires, his demonic side was forced out of control by a poison/disease from them. Ultimately, Robbie proved his mettle and was reinstated fully, and Blade purged him of the supernatural affliction, then agreed to stay on the Avengers and mentor Robbie in controlling his demonic powers.
Subject Interview He'd say this wasn't how he'd expected to spend his night but honestly this was normal for him by now. It was the quiet nights that made him twitch. A spirit had come through his car - Yes, this was his life now. - with a warning. It was very possibly a trap but he couldn't really ignore it. The next thing he knew, his head was a flaming skull, his body was covered in tastefully tight leather, and his car was teleporting them all the way to Jersey City. He put his foot down on the pedal and the Hell Charger raced away, tires shrieking, toward the stadium. He could practically feel the magic coming from there - It felt... Wrong. He didn't think it was from this dimension but he was admittedly no expert.
Robbie glared as much as he could with his face being, well, a skull, when something rose in the stadium - something taller than the stadium's walls. He'd faced worse... Right? Well there was no time like the present to find out. He pushed the pedal flat to the ground. Right before he hit the outside wall, the Charger teleported the both of them inside the stadium. He circled the field in a blur, taking in the scene before him. Someone stood there, seeming to oppose the creatures. Someone who was about to get buried in the ground by a giant fist.
The wheels tore up the ground beneath as he directed the car to move. He was coming from the far side, behind the man. He drove straight at him. He needed to time this well or else he wasn't going to make that man's day any better and probably get himself marked down as an enemy rather than an ally. He turned the car at the last minute, throwing open the passenger side door. The car would admittedly hit the back of the man's legs but he'd apologize for any possible pain that caused later because that was technically his plan. He knocked the man so he'd fall into the passenger seat.
Once he was safely in, he reached across, closing the side door and speeding away mere seconds before the fist collided with the ground. He kept driving straight, the Charger teleporting them outside the stadium where it screeched as he hit the breaks and brought it to a halt. He was already rolling down the windows as he said to his new guest, "You're one of the good guy's right?" His fiery eyes cast a look at the other man, noting the pentagram, the way it sizzled. That wasn't normal but it seemed like his kind of normal - This was definitely his life now.
"Or do I need to put you in the trunk?" he added, jabbing a thumb in the direction of the trunk but neglecting to explain the portal to Hell it contained. He put the Charger in reverse. "Either way, we need to head back in there and send those things back to..." He paused, frowning in thought. "Hell? I'm going to guess Hell." He thought that was a good guess. "Unless you have objections?" Not that he was waiting for any objections. The tires screeched as he pressed down on the gas again, one arm slung on the back of his own chair, eyes behind as the Charger sped off in reverse. He wasn't trying to be rude; the situation just didn't strike him as one where he could afford to pause and form a direct plan. Too much seemed to be at stake.
The Hell Charger teleported back into the stadium, taking both driver and passenger with it.

Paraphernalia: Subject Weaknesses: Subject History Julio grew up largely unaware that his family ran an illegal gun-smuggling ring. After spending some time in jail with his father, Julio was forced to watch him killed by the time-tossed villain, Stryfe in an arms deal that went sour. Julio accidentally destroyed several city blocks when his mutant powers manifested, putting him on The Right's radar, who kidnapped him. Julio was saved by X-Factor and became a trainee at their Complex. Julio was soon recaptured by The Right along with the rest of the trainees until X-Factor saved them - again.
Julio ended up attending a private academy along with some fellow X-Factor kids. He was then part of the X-Terminator's founding members during a demon incursion from Limbo. These events lead to Julio's expulsion from the academy and he returned to X-Factor's headquarters. They absorbed into the New Mutants after the X-Mansion's destructions and Julio went on a whirlwind of adventures with his team. He began a brief romance with ally Wolfsbane, and was heartbroken when she chose to stay behind after an incident on Genosha.
Rictor ended up joining the Canadian government's Weapon PRIME team, whose mission was to hunt down Cable, who Julio believed was the man who killed his father. He learned that the culprit was actually Cable's evil clone, Stryfe and, after this revelation, rejoined the New Mutants, who had become the paramilitary team X-Force. It was here that he first met Shatterstar, with whom he developed a deep friendship that turned into a secret romance. Several adventures later, and right after Julio helped Shatterstar through a personal crisis, the couple took a break from X-Force and traveled to Mexico to put an end to Julio's family's gun-smuggling ring.
Julio briefly became part of Professor Xavier's X-Corporation, stationed in Paris, but left not long afterward. Rictor was one of the many mutants depowered during M-Day. Struggling with severe depression, Julio accepted Multiple Man's offer to join his detective agency, X-Factor Investigations. Rictor temporarily joined Quicksilver's X-Cell team and, after it ended tragically, infiltrated the Purifiers. Julio and Wolfsbane rekindled their romance, but it ended again when she left X-Factor Investigations to join Wolverine's black-ops X-Force team.
While searching for Multiple Man, Rictor and Strong Guy encountered a mind-controlled Shatterstar. When his trance was broken, he and Julio reunited and shared a kiss. Having finally come to terms with his sexuality, Rictor began a steady, though tumultuous relationship with Shatterstar. Julio also protected Wolfsbane during her pregnancy and childbirth that occurred directly after. The Young Avengers's actions restored the Scarlet Witch's memories, who then used her powers to give Rictor back his mutant abilities. Julio and Shatterstar then helped Wolfsbane find her missing son.
X-Factor were transported to Hell shortly after and Julio, along with Shatterstar, was seemingly vaporized by Mephisto. In reality, Rictor and Shatterstar were transported back in time and to the Mojoverse. Julio participated in gladiatorial battles until he was pitted against Shatterstar, whereupon the pair of them escaped. Using his powers, Shatterstar managed to return him and Julio to their proper time and Earth, where they became residents of New Tian during the Phoenix Five's short reign.
While on a break from his relationship with Shatterstar, Rictor took ownership of a popular nightclub in New York City. He managed to save Shatterstar from the Mojoverse using their strong emotional connection, and the pair were put on a path of potential proper reconciliation, thanks to Shatterstar's significant personal growth.

Subject History The first noteworthy events in Johnny's life were tragedies. Following his mother's death in a car accident and his father's subsequent downward spiral that landed him in jail, Johnny and his older sister Sue ended up in the care of their aunt. As a teenager Johnny joined Sue, Reed Richards and Ben Grimm on a fateful space flight that turned them into the Fantastic Four. He went on countless adventures with the F4, occasionally leaving the group only to return; all while still attending high school, where he met Peter Parker, who would become a lifelong best friend.
The F4's first run-in with the Super-Skrull tragically ended in Johnny's father's death. Torch graduated high school and started attending Metro College, where he befriended his roommate, Wyatt Wingfoot, and brought him on a trip the F4 took to Wakanda. It was also around this time that Johnny met the Inhuman Crystal, with whom he had a passionate, though sadly short-lived romance. Superhero adventures were never in short supply for Johnny, and eventually he met Frankie Raye. Again, he fell into a whirlwind romance with her, and again fate ended it when, to save the earth from Galactus, Frankie became his new Herald.
Torch was whisked away to Battleworld and, after returning to earth, found himself drawn to Alicia Masters, long-time girlfriend of his then-absent friend, the Thing. He eventually married Alicia, which greatly estranged Ben from the F4. Ultimately Johnny discovered that his wife wasn't the true Alicia, but a Skrull named Lyja who had impersonated her; Lyja sacrificed herself to protect Johnny shortly after the revelation. He attended Empire State University briefly, but dropped out when his powers damaged part of the campus. Lyja returned to his life, having been nursed back from near death miraculously, but when Johnny discovered her claim to be carrying his child was a lie, he left her for good.
Adventures spiraled on, both super and mundane. Johnny dabbled in alternative careers including acting and firefighting. Neither stuck, prompting Sue to force upon him the job as Chief Financial Officer of Fantastic Four, Inc., which he quickly warmed to and excelled at. Torch was beaten into a coma by people angered at superheroes following the Stamford Incident. When he awoke, he joined Captain America's Resistance along with Sue. After the Civil War's resolution, Johnny rejoined the F4.
During the Skrull's invasion of earth, Johnny's ex-wife, Lyja transported him and those inside the Baxter Building to the Negative Zone to keep them out of harm's way. When they returned to the normal world, Lyja stayed behind on a quest of self-discovery. Next a cult's actions drove Johnny to sacrifice himself at the feet of Annihilus to close the Negative Zone portal from the inside. Worms-healers resurrected Johnny and sent him to a prison of the N-Zone, where he met and gained leadership of the Light Brigade. Together with his new group, Johnny defeated Annihilus and returned to his own dimension; even using commandeered Negative Zone ships and forces to battle the Kree on Earth until Galactus was able to defeat the Mad Celestials bent on razing reality.
Johnny joined the F4's next phase of team, the Future Foundation. He sacrificed his powers to stop an attack from Counter-Earth, and pursued a musical career to cope with the loss. Radiation soon returned Johnny's powers during a Fantastic Four adventure. Next, during reality-collapsing Incursions, Reed, Sue, Franklin, Valeria and the rest of the Future Foundation were believed to have perished in averting them. Thinking their family dead, Johnny and Ben disbanded the Fantastic Four. Torch inherited all of Reed's patents and turned his new fortune toward charitable pursuits, including purchasing Avengers Mansion, thereby building ties and a membership with the Avengers Unity Division.
Torch shared a short romance with the Inhuman Queen Medusa, during which the events surrounding the seer Ulysses occurred, and Johnny sided with the Inhumans. This relationship ended when Medusa abdicated at the end of the incident and left the planet on an expedition with her family. Johnny then dabbled in a momentary romance with fellow Avengers Unity Division member Rogue, though this didn't develop further.
Most recently, Johnny was reunited with his family against the Griever at the End of All Things. It was revealed that Reed, Sue and the others had been on a secret mission to create new universes after the Incursions, and had faked their deaths. Now, with his family, Johnny has moved into their new headquarters, 4 Yancy Street.
