[attr="class","sDarkBase"] [attr="class","sDarkText"] abilitiesskillsweaknesses[break][break] ABILITIES:- Canary Cry: Like her mother, she's able to emit a sonic cry that can blast and deafen people.
[break][break] SKILLS:- Archery: She was trained in archery from a young age and has practically mastered it.
- Acrobatics: She's a skilled gymnast.
- Combat: She's trained in a couple forms of combat and martial arts.
- Weaponry: She's skilled in various types of bows, including a crossbow.
[break][break] WEAKNESSES:- Only Human: While she is a meta-human, she's not bulletproof or invulnerable. Any weapon can harm her.
- Temperamental: She has anger issues and a short fuse. It's easy to get her to blow up on someone or piss her off.
- Parent's Shadow: She's constantly struggling to get out from under her parents' shadow, to the point where she became a thief, joining Rider's Deck and severing ties with her family and other hero allies.
- Self-Esteem: Because she feels she's under her parents' shadows, she's constantly comparing herself to them and feeling she comes up short. She also compares herself to other Arrows and feels she's not up to standard with them.

[break] personality[break][break] Olivia is an outsider to the Queen family, though it is mostly her own doing. She feels she doesn't belong in the world of heroes, that she couldn't live up to her parents' expectations of her. Since joining Rider's Deck, though, she's come out of her shell more and embraced who she is.[break][break] She loves causing mischievous and pranking people. She loves getting into trouble, stealing, and evading the cops. She loves the looks on the cops' races when they realize who she is, as Black Arrow.[break][break] She's resentful toward other heroes when she runs into them and they question why she's in Rider's Deck. Insisting that their is still some good in her is a sure fire way to piss her off. She's a firm believer that you can be a good person and still be a thief. She despises how so-called "heroes" look down on Rider's Deck because they're mostly children of villains.[break][break] She's guaranteed to want to punch someone square in the jaw if they state that they believe Rider's Deck turned her evil. She hates when people bring up the hero they believe she could have been.[break][break] She still struggles with self-esteem and comparing herself to the other members of her heroic family. She does fully believe she let her family, especially her parents, down the day she ran away and then even more when she joined Rider's Deck. But at the same time she's become proud of who she is.[break][break] She embraces her identity as Black Arrow, a neutral thief. She's a proud member of Rider's Deck and would do anything for her teammates. A part of her wishes she wasn't estranged from her family, but she also knows she's found a new family among her teammates. [break][break]
[break] history[break][break] Olivia is the daughter of Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance. She was set to become the next Speedy, having at an early age developed the want to become a hero like her parents and the rest of her family. She trained under her parents as well as other members of the Arrow family. It was an unspoken plan between her and Mia that she would take over as Speedy once Mia was ready to take a new alias.[break][break] But life often doesn't go the way we plan.[break][break] In her public life, Olivia often dealt with people commenting on her and comparing her to her parents. Even other heroes would do it, though she knew they meant well. She felt stuck in her parents' shadows and it caused her to start to lash out. She quit the cheer squad in school and started acting out both at school and home.[break][break] She more so resented herself than her parents though most people, possibly including her parents, assumed she resented Oliver and Dinah. They tried to figure out how to help her but she kept spiraling out of control. She was a wild child, and out of control. Eventually she was sent to military school, at age fifteen.[break][break] That was when she ran away. Two weeks into the school, she packed her bags and ran away. Her parents didn't find out until it was too late and she was gone. She traveled from town to town, living on the streets and avoiding the cities she knew friends of her parents lived - avoiding Star City.[break][break] Then a few months later she met and joined Rider's Deck. She dawned the identity of Black Arrow, choosing to leave Speedy with her family. She became a thief. She was the fourth member of Rider's Deck. She found a new family with her teammates, who by knowing her secret identity, figured out her family's. Yet they kept hers and her family's identities secret, never once telling any other villains. [break][break]
[break] sample[break][break] [Sample taken from a previous incarnation of this site][break][break] There was a new Speedy - and it most certainly wasn't Olivia Queen. Though she had once planned to dawn that identity after Mia, that plan had gone up in smokes the moment she'd chosen to run away and it was long gone by the time she'd joined Rider's Deck as Black Arrow. But now there was a new Speedy in town. He seemed to travel as often as she did with Rider's Deck, never quite sticking to one place. And unlike the Speedy of the past - both Roy and Mia - she'd never seen him with a Green Arrow.[break][break] When she'd first heard about him, she'd assumed Connor had finally gotten himself a sidekick. Now that didn't seem to be the case. This Speedy was seen anyone except Star City. If she didn't know any better, she'd think he was avoiding her hometown just like she was. But that had to be a coincidence right?[break][break] She'd sent encrypted messages to both Joshua Wayne and Travis Kent - the only two heroes she was technically in contact with and that was just because Josh was dating three of her teammates as well as constantly trying to prove to other heroes that Rider's Deck were more than just the kids of villains; and Travis was too sweet to cut out of her life. She'd once had a crush on him when she was twelve. That had been cute. Ah how she'd thought she was straight back then. Now she was happily in a queer platonic relationship with one of her teammates.[break][break] Not all of Rider's Deck was currently in Los Angeles. They split up quite often. They had their own ways of finding each other again. But this was the most recent city Speedy had been seen in, so she'd asked Ishi to teleport her there.[break][break] She wanted to know who this Speedy was and how he'd become known as Speedy. After all, her family didn't give away their iconic code names. He had to be some new member of the family, she was sure of it.[break][break] So she knelt on a rooftop, gazing down on the streets of Los Angeles, waiting for a crime to happen. If one didn't, she thought she might have to cause it herself. After all, you needed crime to draw out a crimefighter - and she assumed this Speedy was as much the hero as those who bore the name before him.
